Going live after your observation week
Upgrading from a free week means signing the full onboarding packet, and only the account owner can start it. Your invoice is issued once it is signed.
Upgrading from a free observation week moves you onto a paid plan and onto the full agreement. Family messages start only after go-live, the same as for every paid school.
Where
/dashboard/upgrade — the same screen you land on from any locked page during the week, with your day count on it. It's also reachable directly.
Who
The account owner, not a seat holder. This is the same rule as any other billing action on the dashboard.
What upgrading does
Pick your plan under Choose your plan and press Go live with Elira →. We take you straight to the full onboarding packet — the Master SaaS Agreement, the Data Processing Agreement and the NY Ed Law § 2-d Addendum — and email it to you as well. Your week ran on a short agreement that covers the week only; this is the one that covers the paid service, so nothing goes live without it. While it waits for a signature your dashboard shows the signing screen and Elira still contacts no one.
We issue your first invoice once the packet is signed. It is payable in 30 days — by bank transfer (ACH) or card on the invoice page, or by check; no card is required. See Plans, billing, and cancellation.
Then finish Build Elira's Brain and press Request go-live. Nothing reaches a family until AskElira approves it.
What ends when the week ends, if you don't upgrade
Your roster and drafts board close when the week ends. Unconverted applicant data is deleted automatically — see What happens to your data after your observation week.
